Deputy U.S. Marshal Wyatt  Earp, an American hero who helped tame the Old West,  will have his 159th birthday celebrated in a Western Weekend, August 4th, 2007 in Monmouth, Illinois,  where he was born in 1848.

                                                WYATT EARP BIRTHPLACE HOME FOR SALE:
Accepting bids on August 15th at 1 pm at the Birthplace Home, 406 South 3rd Street.  Send bids to R&M Matson, 1020 E. Detroit Ave., Monmouth, IL 61462 or wyattearpbirthp@aol.com Minimum Bid $100,000.
Property includes the Birthplace two-story museum, the one-story apartment, and a single car garage.  Also included is the corner lot with the OK Corral show sets. Furniture, antiques, and memorabilia in the Museum are included, except for items donated to the Museum or for sale, which may be negotiated with the Board of Trustees. Furnishings in the one-bedroom apartment include appliances.
